Free Pro Tools First Course – Pro Tools First Pro

If you want to learn the ins and outs of Pro Tools so that you can record, edit and mix audio like an Audio Pro, then you’re in the right place. This is Pro Tools First Pro, the complete, free Pro Tools First course for beginners that I’ve put together for you right here on YouTube. It’s the only course that you need to quickly and simply learn everything that you need to know to create music, podcasts and more, using the powerful – and free – audio software Pro Tools First.

In the first part, I go over exactly what Pro Tools First is and what it can do. Then, over the rest of the course, you’ll learn how to install the software, how to set it up and record, edit and mix audio. And finally, I go over how to export your audio in the right formats and there’ll be a couple of bonus videos at the end of the course, with some extra tricks and materials to take your learning further.

There are 15 videos in the series, and each one focuses on a different aspect of using the software. You’ll find all the videos in the playlist, so feel free to jump to whichever is relevant to you. I’ll be dropping useful tips throughout the course though, so even if you’re quite familiar with Pro Tools First, I recommend watching through the course, even just as a refresher.

Please note that Pro Tools First is now discontinued for new users. But this course does apply if you’re learning the full version of Pro Tools as well, as it works almost identically.
