Do you want to know how to make DI acoustic guitar sound good? In this video I’ll show you how, in three steps!
In the previous video, I went through how to record DI acoustic guitar. Now it’s time to get it sounding natural and professional. DI acoustic guitar rarely sounds as good as recording it with a mic, but you might not have an option. You’ll lose out on the natural room sound and the playing sounds. You might find that the low end is a little on the muddy side, and the top end can sound brittle and ‘fake’.
However, with some careful EQing, gentle compression and the right choice of reverb, you can get a workable and professional sounding tone out of your DId acoustic guitar.
